Season: Winter

In the words of Aly& AJ “It's the greatest time of year. And it's here, help me celebrate it.” — November has been sneaky quick but I have already started getting out some holiday things. I decorated Rhodes nursery and have been pulling out boxes. We hosted our family for a brunch after Rhodes dedication Sunday and now that we have finished up with that sweet celebration, it’s time to move on to Christmas! I typically wait until after Thanksgiving to decorate but there is no time like the present as a new mom!

Things that I am looking forward to this holiday season

• All the scents — just got this Jenni Kayne candle set and they are all so good. Great for gifting too!

• Baking my holiday cookies — not sure how this will happen with a 6 month old since I typically bake hundreds for family, friends, and neighbors but we will figure it out!

• Chunky knits, thick silver and gold jewelry, all the layers.

• First Christmas with a baby — picking out our tree with a little one in tow!

• Hosting my annual holiday dinner

• Cozying up by the fire and enjoying extra family time
